Our Story

Meet Joe and Mathew, once comrades in the Fire and Rescue service, who, after witnessing the devastating impact of smoke inhalation in fires, embarked on a mission. Their vision was simple but profound: to empower individuals in life-or-death situations. These firefighters intimately understood the dire need for breathable air, leading them to found Simply Breathe Ltd. in 2012. Their friendship, forged in the heat of service, became the driving force behind this venture.

Their journey took a revolutionary turn when they crossed paths with Dr. Tony Ryan, a gas adsorption expert. Together, they unlocked the secret to their life-saving device. Activated carbon technology, now patent protected, adsorbed oxygen, thereby increasing the quantity of this existential breathable gas by a staggering 15-fold. This breakthrough marked the birth of "Air For Life," offering a lifeline to fire victims and earning accolades like 'Best PPE Accessory' and the highly coveted 'BAMA Aerosol of the Year.'
But their story didn't end there. Recognizing the potential of their innovation, Joe, Mathew, and Tony expanded their vision.
